Preparation before you start

  • Use a smartphone or PC with a working internet connection.
  • Keep your Aadhaar and bank details to hand.
  • Ensure your Aadhaar has an active mobile number (OTP is required).
  • Use a browser that allows popups for OTP dialogs (Chrome / Edge / Firefox).

Step 1 — open the official portal

  • Type or paste https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in/ into the address bar and press Enter.
  • Look for a menu or button labelled “Beneficiary eKYC”, “e-KYC / Verify”, “Register / Login” or similar.

Step 2 — choose eKYC or beneficiary verification

  • Click the eKYC or Verify button.
  • If the portal requires login, choose the beneficiary login option (no employee login).

Step 3 — enter Aadhaar number

  • Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar carefully.
  • Confirm the number is correct; typos will block OTP.

Step 4 — receive and enter OTP

  • An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP promptly (it typically expires in a few minutes).
  • If you do not receive OTP, use the portal option to resend OTP or check mobile network.

Step 5 — verify personal details shown on screen

  • The portal will show your name and address pulled from Aadhaar.
  • Confirm these details match your documents.
    • If details are wrong, note the portal instructions for updating Aadhaar (usually via an Aadhaar center).

Step 6 — provide Bank Account details

  • Enter the bank account number and IFSC as requested.
  • The portal may ask you to upload the first page of your passbook or a cancelled cheque.
  • Ensure the bank account is Aadhaar-linked. (If not, link via your bank or the bank’s internet banking / branch.)

Step 7 — upload documents (if asked)

  • Use scanned copies or clear photos of:
    • Aadhaar (front/back)
    • Bank passbook page (showing account number)
    • Residence proof (optional if Aadhaar shows address)
  • Accept and proceed.

Step 8 — final consent and submit

  • Read the declarations.
  • Tick the consent checkbox for data use / DBT.
  • Click Submit.

Step 9 — confirmation

  • The portal will show a success message and send an SMS confirming completion.
  • Save or screenshot the confirmation page for your records.

  • Visit the nearest Aaple Sarkar / Maha e-Seva Kendra / Gram Panchayat / district office.
  • Carry original Aadhaar, a bank passbook, and one passport photo.
  • Request Ladki Bahin eKYC assistance and follow the staff instructions.
  • Staff will scan Aadhaar and may perform biometric verification.
  • Confirm mobile number for OTP and sign the consent form.
  • Collect a paper acknowledgement or SMS confirmation after completion.
