  • Enter the OTP promptly (it typically expires in a few minutes).
  • If you do not receive OTP, use the portal option to resend OTP or check mobile network.

  • Confirm these details match your documents.
    • If details are wrong, note the portal instructions for updating Aadhaar (usually via an Aadhaar center).

Step 6 — provide Bank Account details

  • Enter the bank account number and IFSC as requested.
  • The portal may ask you to upload the first page of your passbook or a cancelled cheque.
  • Ensure the bank account is Aadhaar-linked. (If not, link via your bank or the bank’s internet banking / branch.)

Step 7 — upload documents (if asked)

  • Use scanned copies or clear photos of:
    • Aadhaar (front/back)
    • Bank passbook page (showing account number)
    • Residence proof (optional if Aadhaar shows address)
  • Accept and proceed.

Step 8 — final consent and submit

  • Read the declarations.
  • Tick the consent checkbox for data use / DBT.
  • Click Submit.

Step 9 — confirmation

  • Save or screenshot the confirmation page for your records.

  • Visit the nearest Aaple Sarkar / Maha e-Seva Kendra / Gram Panchayat / district office.
  • Carry original Aadhaar, a bank passbook, and one passport photo.
