Online Application Process for Atal Pension Scheme:
Under the Atal Pension Yojana introduced for the unorganized sector, members will be provided with a minimum monthly pension ranging from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 5,000 upon retirement. The government will contribute 50% of the member’s contribution or Rs. 1,000 (whichever is lower) during the first 5 years. This is applicable only for non-income taxpayers and those not covered under legal social security schemes. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 40 can enroll in the APY scheme and secure their future by applying online.
Eligibility for APY:
- Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- Age should be between 18 to 40 years.
- It is mandatory to contribute for a minimum of 20 years.

Online Application Process for Atal Pension Yojana:

- Click on the “REGISTRATION” button.

- Upload necessary documents and make payment.
- If registration is successful, the bank will deduct the first contribution, and a Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN) will be generated. Finally, the applicant can sign and verify the online form.

Latest Updates on APY Scheme
According to the latest updates in this scheme, APY subscribers can now change their contribution amount at any time within a year. Before July 1, 2020, subscribers were only allowed to change the contribution amount in the month of April.
